
Do not underestimate the power of learning these shortcut keys that utilize the Windows logo key. The windows key is found on most keyboards packaged with Windows-based computers. It is located between the control and alt keys. As you can see, it does have a built in purpose!

Show the desktop: + D
Lock your computer or switch user: + L
Launch Windows Explorer (to manage your files): + E
Maximize the current window to full screen: + down arrow
Restore the current window to its non-full size state: + up arrow
Make the window go half screen to the right: + right arrow
Make the window go half screen to the left: + left arrow
